A Timeless Gift of Connection
When my mum passed, so much of my adult life still lay ahead of me. The technology we enjoy today was in its infancy and I do remember being able to record a video of her and being able to hear her voice to this day, it can always soothe my heart.
A dear friend of mine also secretly helped her prepare a last birthday card together with her thoughts to mark life’s milestones I’d face without her, once she passed. These precious messages, filled with her love, wisdom, and hopes for my future offered me immense comfort during that first year as I walked through the grieving and healing.
